Proposal
AP Inquiry Project
Layton
Subject of Inquiry-Decisions(Life/Death,Life-Sports,school)
Guiding Question-How can an important decision(not an everyday decision) affect our life?
Rationale-I had started reading Through My Eyes when we were introduced to this project for the first time. The first thing that came to my mind was this autobiography is all about the decisions Tim Tebow made throughout his college career and knew that making decisions would be the perfect topic. So after finishing Through My Eyes I found a book that went along with making decisions. The two books I read are Through My Eyes and Hatchet. Both about making decisions. Doing research and learning from these two books will hopefully help me on my decision making.
Summary-I have decided to read an autobiography about someone making decisions and a fictional book about someone making decisions. I think reading these books will help me on my decision making and learn how to make the important decisions in life.
Prediction-I think, again, this will help on my decision making and I’ll learn about some important decisions the people in my books and reflect of those to make the best decision in whatever the situation.
Titles and Authors- 1)Through My Eyes-Tim Tebow 2) Hatchet-Gary Paulsen
Importance-I think it is important to know how to make decision and when to make the right one because a decision could be a life or death situation, whether you advance to the next grade, and other important times to make decisions.
Other possible resources- To get more/better information I will go to a dictionary, ask a wise adult, then if all else fails(not really) I will go to the internet and get further information from pacific websites.
